Behind the Scenes: How AI-Assisted Course Authoring Works
One of the most common questions we get: "How does CNS author courses with AI without sacrificing rigour?" Here's the actual workflow.
Step 1: Faculty authoring
Every CNS course starts with a Nigerian academic, typically with five or more years of teaching experience in the relevant subject. They produce a structured outline tied to the CCMAS module requirements.
Step 2: AI-assisted drafting
An LLM pipeline expands the outline into draft units, definitions, examples, worked solutions, suggested reading. The AI is grounded in Nigerian context wherever possible (local case studies, NESREA / SON / NAFDAC references for science modules, Nigerian commercial law for business modules).
Step 3: Faculty review
The same expert revises the AI draft, corrects factual errors, adds local examples, and approves the unit. Nothing reaches the platform without this final human pass.
Step 4: Pedagogical QA
A second reviewer, usually an instructional designer, checks that learning objectives, assessments, and difficulty progression match the CCMAS module specification.
